What's New at Always Blessed

From theValley to the Mountain Top will be released on May 16th, 2009.  My first reading will be for South Hopewell Church of God Ladies Ministry on May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at 2700 Windsor Court, Prince George, Virginia.   All are welcome!    I beleive that this is the direction that God is leading me with this first book.  Yes I said first book. 

Update:  June 11, 2009, I feel that the Ladies Ministry was a success.  One of the ladies opened up and shared with the others about the pain and abuse in her life.  God is blessing this work more and more.  If you have purchased a copy of this work please share it.  I'm not really concerned with anything else than doing God's Will in my life and with this book His Will is that my story be shared.

My second one has not been submitted yet, but my hope is that it will be a more powerful tool for healing than the first.  The title is "In the land of Sorrows".  In this story one will follow Daughter of Earth through a life of pain in the wilderness, through many pits and swamps of despair until she finally enters in to the Valley of Faith.

Update: June 11,2009, Awesome news...I have decided to check out a literary agent and now I'm glad I did.  Nothing against my first publisher but I would like for someone else to handle the promotional side of my books.  Yep, I said books! This agency has accepted my work and we are now into the critiqueing stage of thier process.  If anyone reading this update is a writer and are looking for an agent please contact me and I will pass on the information. 

Update:  September 22, 2009  My second work is now taking shape.  The critique has been completed and the book is now on to the editing process.  This is where the story will take professional form.  It is my hope this process will be complete this fall and ready to be sold to a publishing company.  I'm so excited about this work.  It has really completed the healing process that I have been going through.  God is good, all the time.

Update:  April 29th, 2010 "In The Land of Sorrows" is now in the promotional stage.  This is a slower process but well worth the time as the agent matches the work with the publisher and the publlishers view the works that the agents are promoting.  I am so thankful for this process.  Reaching those readers that my work will help is the important thing so the wait is well worth it.
